Nike black sneakers / Express high waisted jeans / Oasap sweatshirt / Chanel bag / Celine sunnies
When the weather is nice enough to wear a sweatshirt, I wear my happiest one! I have always said (and I stand by it) that if I could pick a last food to eat, it would be a batch of Mcdonalds fries. I could go for some right now, actually. ;)

Michael Kors Bag / Concrete Runway Dress / lulus pumps / gap denim jacket

While we were driving around looking for places to shoot, we saw this antique car and snuck some photos by it before we got caught. They happened to compliment the gold and tan hues of my dress, and the vintage denim jacket pulled it together. I love the detail on the dress, and I felt it needed my personal touch with the slouchy draped jacket, which I had been searching for in this wash for years, and finally found on sale at Gap. It's similar to leopard pumps, which I've been searching for for three years, and have yet to come across the perfect pair. I know one day when I least expect it, the perfect ones, at the perfect price are going to come dancing on my front porch. That will be the day!
I have been wearing this Michael Kors purse every day because it is so practical and the perfect size. I got it on eBags.com using their eBags Obsession Tool that helps you find the right bag for your outfit. It's really neat because it's user friendly, and it makes shopping for bags a whole lot easier.

Miami Sweater

high waisted denim shorts / crop knit  / justfab sneakers / celine sunglasses
Cropped sweaters are my season's pick, as I can actually wear them in Miami! And I feel lucky every time I put on a pair of cutoffs, as I remind myself that not everyone gets to rock these year round.

Navy + Green

Michael Kors bag / Oasap Shirt / Abercrombie Jeans / Converse sneakers / Raen sunglasses

When I was trying to find a way to wear this shirt in the colder months, I was struggling to want to pair it with anything but white jeans. But then, I decided to trade the white jeans for white sneakers, and casual came to mind, so I threw on my ripped jeans, and layered a hooded jacket. Navy and green pair well together year round, and having classic pieces like these has paid for me, as I can use them and layer them any given time.

My Week at Sea With Royal Caribbean

If you follow me on instagram, you know that last week, I was lucky to spend my time in the Caribbean, aboard Royal Caribbean's Allure of the Seas- the largest ship in the world. It was beyond incredible. This ship blew my mind in more ways than I could explain. With 25 dining options (ALL amazing), 2,400 crew at your service 24/7, and some of my favorite activities, which included: zip line, surfing, boogie boarding, mini golf, ice skating, rock climbing, carousels, candy, cupcake, and donut shops…and a gigantic, ultra modern fitness center with everything from barre to flywheel, as well as the most amazing shows I've ever seen. Dare I compare to them to Cirque Du Soleil shows?! They were definitely of that caliber. The ice skating show was my favorite, but it's hard to pick favorites with water diving shows, Broadway Chicago play, concerts, and dancing shows. I am convinced cruising is the best way to vacation with your family, as everything is included, and you get fine dining, unlimited room service, and multiple planned activities all day.
As far as excursions, in Haiti we did jet ski's around the mountains (so cool), in Jamaica we went to a farm to ride horses and rode them in the ocean, (my most beloved experience), and in Mexico we swam with stingrays and spent the day in downtown Cozumel. Cozumel stole my heart. I loved the vibrant and fun culture, the unlimited (and free) beer + tequila, tacos, and local stores. With the duty free deals and a tequila-enhanced heart, I got the most beautiful diamond ring as a reminder of this beautiful week I felt so blessed to spend at sea.
I couldn't be more grateful to Royal Caribbean for their VIP service, the phenomenal ship, and an overall enriching week. I will most definitely sail with them again, as I can't think of a better, more complete and inclusive vacation with the ability to experience so many cultures all in one.
Thanks for reading!

Black pants / Just Fab OTK boots / Sugar Love Boutique Sweater + Vest / Chanel Bag / Stila color balm lipstick / Triple Graces Rita sunglasses
Since I got my first pair of OTK boots a few years ago, I find that they add so much sexiness to any outfit! Shout out to Catwoman. These Sugar Love pieces, sweater + shaggy vest, are such fun takes on basics for Fall. And you see those heels? Women who can rock heels ought to add that to their resumes right under "survived most face plants."

High Waist

French Connection Leather Jacket / Nasty Gal High Waisted Jeans / Style Mafia Top / Vera Wang Booties via Kohls / Hermes Bracelet / Celine Sunglasses / Stila color balm lipstick in olivia
I fought high waisted anything for so.long. Although I liked it, I thought my torso looked nonexistent, and that led me to look even shorter than I am. Plus, if you don't have a butt, like a BUTT, high waisted is not the way to go. Or so I thought. But then, piece by piece, short by short, and eventually pant by pant, I've built quite the collection of high waisted everything, and my insecurities took a back seat to wearing these cuties with crop tops and everything in between!
