Off White / White

Wearing ivory and white together can be tricky, as it doesn't always look the way you imagine it will. Sometimes it can look like the off-white is just dingy in comparison to the stark white. However, I liked pairing these together for the beach because the see-through pattern gives the two colors a nice blend, without having a stark difference. Last day of June? Half way through this year already!

I've had these pants for at least five years, and they always seem to work in some way. I love the satin for its subtle shine and softness. All black works both simply, with no accessories, but often, it also works with pops of colors. In this case, I added this bright red hat, that I am smitten with, and chunky necklaces. I wore this hat that same night to a Finals Heat game, and while it was color appropriate, it was not a lucky charm. What a bummer, how poorly they've played during these finals.

Frill Top

I wore this outfit for a night out when my best friend was visiting me, and although I loved the outfit, I was not very lucky while wearing it.  My phone magically fell out of my purse and was stolen, never to be recovered. Thankfully, all is well and I have a new phone. Although a highly unlucky night, I will wear this get up again, as I love both pieces, together and separately.

Trench Days

This is one of my favorite Spring outfits. Miami had a rare day, where it cooled down mid-May, and it was the perfect opportunity to bring out this trench from Lulus. I only wore it for a short period of time, because I had nowhere important to go besides Home Depot (lol), but I pray for cooler days to wear it again. If not, it will definitely be traveling with me to NY this Fall.

Oversized black dress / similar / Prada bag / Chanel flats (also love classic Chloe ones) / Ray Ban via Sunglasses shop / Wren and Glory hand wrap

When I first saw this dress, it looked like a whole lot of nothing on the hanger. But when I tried it on, I fell in love with the flare and volume of the cut. I immediately thought of one of my favorite looks Victoria Beckham has worn, from her own line. I saw this photo a while back, and have since dreamt of a dress similar to it. While the volume of this one doesn't compare, it reminded me of it ever so slightly. Isn't she flawless?!

Cinderella Blue

The color of this romper takes me back to Cinderella every time. I can't get past it. I am not a fan of pastels, but I would have to be dark hearted, to not appreciate this angelic piece. This will forever be Cinderella blue to me. I hear people call it "robin egg blue" and a more turquoise version "Tiffany blue." But, this is most certainly princess blue.

Dress Blouse

I love oversized blouses that can look like a dress. I wore black shorts under this top, but you can barely see them. Because of the length, I buttoned it all the way up, creating a masculine top and feminine bottom. The best of both worlds always involves mixing two styles. I wore classic black flats and a clutch that can easily be dressy and casual.

French Connection

French Connection is amongst my top five favorite places to shop. Their quality is superb, and their selection unique and timeless. I popped into my local FC last week, and picked out a couple looks from their most recent collection; this being one of them. The embroidery on it is unreal, and I can wear the shorts and jacket separately, or in a suit form, like I did for a fancy dinner. The ivory shirt is also FC. I got it last Winter, and it has turned out to be one of my most practical blouses, for its polished look and classic color, which can be paired with almost all things. I am looking forward to wearing this duo time and time again, styled in various ways. I love the bright yellow pops of color throughout, which I accentuated through my shoes. This yellow reminds of Caress® Fresh Collection – Juicy Escape™ which is a bright, exotic yellow shade -- perfect for Summer. Whether paired with neutrals, as I did, or with other bright colors, its a sure Summer staple.

The Caress® Fresh collection wraps your skin in vibrant scents and hydrating lather, leaving it revitalized and delicately scented. Try the new Caress® Fresh Collection and revitalize your skin like never before.

Kimono Boho

While I wouldn't say I have a defined style "title." For instance, "edgy," or "boho," or "preppy;" I would say I have a fair balance of them all. Either all in one outfit, a little bit here and there, or one day this, and one day that, I love that when I dress myself, I get to play up my mood for that morning. When I put this ensemble together, I felt distinctly boho from head to toe. Ready to turn back time and go to Coachella. (I wish!) This fun kimono comes from a new boutique that I would love to introduce you all too, Rustic Honey. They have a good mix of boho, country, and vintage, for very reasonable prices. And in other news, I just realized I have worn these shorts at least 4 times in a week. They really pair well with every.single.thing.

Mesh Midis

I didn't jump head first into the midi trend, because although I think it's adorable, I noticed how popular they became, and they lost some of their unique appeal. Happens with all trends, right? However, when I saw this mesh one, I really liked the fabric, and I didn't want to pass it up. I paired it with a simple muscle tank, and dressed it up with strappy sandals. I love, love muscle tees for all occasions, and while I was searching for the link to this one on the F21 site, I found 284638 others that are easy and fun. I want them all! Sometimes I will go from work to the gym in these tanks, they are that versatile. ;)

The Right Fit

Nobody makes jumpsuits like AQAQ. They are the kings and queens of flattery in jumpsuit world. Not all jumpsuits work for me, because I am short, and they just look funny, but this one is perfect. It hugs all the right areas, and cuts off right at the ankles. Perfect with heels, or with flat sandals for a Sunday afternoon.

I was feeling polished on a Sunday morning, and was headed to brunch, so it was a fitting occasion to not only feel polished, but create a polished look as well. A quick way to go for that masculine, suit type of look, is to button your shirt all the way up. And to add a little something, I used the necklace as a second collar. These J.Crew shorts work with the dressier look, and the pumps tied it all together. I can't believe how fancy these shoes look, and they are from JustFab! They are really comfortable too!
