Cropped

Lulus jeans ℅ / Choies sweater ℅ (similar) / black pumps (similar) / Chanel bag (similar)

A semi-casual look for today. These high waisted jeans are so versatile, because I can wear them with a normal shirt, and you can't tell they are high waisted, and I can also rock them with cropped tops, like this sweater. In my opinion, distressed jeans are the only type of jeans, and I'm lucky I don't abide by any type of anti-rips dress code! :)

Ombre Dust

French Connection Dress ℅ / / Christian Louboutin pumps / gigi new york clutch ℅ / Sunglasses / Stila "dolce" lips

This French Connection number is currently ranking high up in my closet. I love a piece that is "sexy," but that doesn't lose its tasteful essence. French Connection is a timeless store, with a selection of beautiful staple items that are especially great for parties. In addition to this dress, I picked up this cropped leather jacket and a my first full body jump suit.

Favorite Denim

I knew the first time I wore these jeans, there was an instant connection. Chemistry galore. A bit of an overstatement, but in reality, it was a match made in heaven. I love the fit, the distress, and the wash. Abercrombie is known for their denim, and they do them justice. One of the qualities I look for in jeans is their durability. A lot of jeans don't hold their shape throughout the day, and by a day's end,  they are a size bigger than what you started with. Not the case with these. I have two other pairs of jeans from Abercrombie, and they all hold up equally well. They are quality product for a great price. (currently $39 for all denim in US)
I just got a boot cut pair, and I am re-learning to navigate the boot cut terrain again. Fashion is fully cyclical, and I'm learning to not be so quick to discard old trends.

Wrapped in Flannel

Abercrombie c/o - skirt / sweater / flannel / beanie

This laid back outfit comes entirely from Abercrombie for under $100 (skirt sweatshirt and flannel.) It is a mix of feminine, with laid back touches added by the flannel around the sweatshirt and the red beanie. I remember wrapping shirts around myself as a child, thinking it was so cool. 90's babies stand up. ;) For you people still shopping, Abercrombie makes it easy to last minute shop and get everything before Christmas. Orders placed by tomorrow by 12pm EST will arrive by Christmas. AND why wouldn't you place your orders now, the entire store is 50% off!! They have some really cute things, and great deals! I just ordered these pants, and they are currently my favorite bottoms. My closet has been filling with more and more Abercrombie items, because they are so easy to wear and feel super casual and laid back.
Thanks for reading! Enjoy your Sunday!

This is potentially the greatest trend ever! I love whimsical everything. My take was to wear a bright bottom, that can be easily dressed up or casually sporty, and pulled color from my lips and socks.
Happy Friday!

Birthday Dress

Sheinside Dress ℅ (mine is sold out, this one is very similar) / boots (similar) / Stila lipstick / Chanel bag

I always get excited a couple weeks before my birthday, but when it starts getting closer, I never want it to be here. I don't really enjoy a whole day where people think they should give me special attention. It's awkward. But, I do like that it's a time where I see and talk to my close friends. Anyhow, today is the day, and I thought I should post an outfit that is characteristic of me. I could wear all black every day, and this sweater dress fits so well,  I really like it. I love it paired with over the knee boots, and a pop of lip color.
I am so thankful to have lived 22 years to date, and this year I plan on celebrating louder, dreaming bigger, and living fearless. Thanks for reading, hope you all have a great day!

The Blues

Lulus sweater ℅ / Express jeans ℅ / J.Crew tee / sunglasses (similar) (Madewell booties / Feral Watch ℅  / Infinite Universe Bag ℅

I have waited all Fall for Miami to cool down enough to wear this sweater.  And finally, the weather gods gave us a couple days in the 60's where I could comfortably sport it, and feel cozy and warm. I love the lose fit, the oversized collar, and the blue shades. I paired it with distressed jeans, a tee and some booties for an easy, relaxed look.

Embellished

This is week four of my participation in the U by Kotex Trend contest. You can also participate by entering the Facebook contest, where you can try the trend, and show us how it works for you, by uploading a photo of yourself, relevant to the trend, and the Glam editorial team will select the best look and reward the winner with a $100 giftcard each week, and one trip to NYC! Plus, I would love to see your take on these fun trends. This week, the trend is intricate embellishments.
I love mixing boy pieces, like this vintage blazer, and making it casual with a simple white tee under it, but still maintaining a feminine touch with the embellishments and subtle sparkle through the jeans. Initially, I was planning on wearing this with heels, but when I saw my sneakers, I just couldn't resist.

My Face

These ten products are the only face products I own, and the only I use, no matter the occasion. For the most part, I only use the HD Beauty Balm, as it is magical. It serves as a moisturizer and has a very mild tint. It serves as a primer, as it closes your pores and makes your skin look refreshed. I also use the Luxtural face treatments, recommended to me by celebrity dermatologist, and they work like a charm. As far as make up, Stila is my favorite line because they feel lightweight, and most products are made with less chemicals compared to other lines, and when they say "stay all day," it is no joke.
For blush, I recently began using Kat Von Dee's "Bellisima", and it is a matte clump of amazing. So subtle, but peachy and just right.
I began using Lil Lash and Lil Brow growth serums two weeks ago, and so far, I have really noticed a difference in my eye brows. I am hoping it is the same with my lashes. I use Stila brow color to fill them in, and I love how well it blends into my brows.
I have never been a big make-up person, but having your signature items is important, especially when you're looking to wow in the face department.
I am biased to wearing no make-up, with a little lotion and maybe a dash of mascara, because on days that you do wear it, you look so different. Please let me know if you have any questions about any of these products in an email. I'd be happy to discuss them in further detail with you, should you be interested.

And, check out my NYE picks over at The Hunt and enter for a chance to win a $500 Asos giftcard!

Farmer's Market

Sundays are my favorite days. Growing up, I dreaded them because school started the next day, and it gave me a melancholic feeling that I associated Sundays with. But now, said day means brunch, my absolute favorite thing. This past weekend, I met up with the sweet Kristin, (you guysssss, I love her!!) and she introduced me to her favorite brunch spot. It was a darling hidden spot inside a Farmer's Market, and they offered the largest variety of the best mimosas in all the land. Take ours for example, Lemon Rose and Mango Honey Mimosas. What heaven did I just enter?
Naturally, the relaxed atmosphere of a Farmer's Market made me think:  tank and sneakers. Funny thing, Kristin was adorably opposite in a layered pattern dress and plaid shirt, (Farmer's Market perfection). We may think differently where style is concerned, but when it comes down to a good Miami happy hour, or a brunch excursion, we are one and the same.
