An Organization Solution

This shop is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group™ and Home Depot & Rubbermaid, but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #AllAccessOrganizers  http://cmp.ly/3/8vNxcO.

Although I am a bit of an organization freak, there are some areas of my house, that I simply cannot keep the clutter out of. It bothers me to no end to have things on counters, but when there is no easy solution and no cabinet space, the counter is the default setting. This has been the case for our workout supplements. We use them daily, so we need them in a place where they are easily accessible, and in near reach.
When I found the Rubbermaid All Access Organizers at Home Depot, I was excited to try them out, because they appeared to be a great organizing solution. They can stack on top of one another, so only a small amount of space is occupied, they open from the front and at the top, so bigger containers can fit, they have a clear lid at the front, so you can see what is in them, and they come in different sizes. I bought the small and large. The large, I am using to store my workout supplements, since protein containers are so large, and my small one, I am using to de-clutter my under-the-sink space, and properly store my cleaning supplies.

This should not be on the internet.

Just sitting there, waiting for me to waste away organizing.

ahhh! sigh when you can see everything, it is all in ONE place, doesn't take a lot of space, but a corner against a wall! This is an organizer's DREAM! *fireworks*
Neatly pantried up! I urge you to do yourself a favor. I feel like I could get 30 of these and store every dang flying thing in this house.

Thanks for reading!

Slouchy

Shirt: H&M love this one from J.Crew / Pants: old these at express / Shoes: here /Bracelet:Sugar Love Boutique / Necklace: cutes at ILY Couture

I wore this slouchy ensemble, a very favorite look of mine, to a Miami Fashion Week cocktail, and the comfort, and effortless feel was unbeatable! I will be looking for similar look on my next shopping outing! I picked up this necklace at F21 walking from the parking to the hotel, which reminded me that the tassel trend is so cute! I just have to watch myself from getting six of them, because when I hop on a  loved item, I tend to get several, and end up with too many of the same thing.

A Walk in the Neighborhood + Lulus Giveaway

Pants: H&M similar here  here here Shirt: J.Crew / Sandals: Gap (love these in black perforated) / Purse: here / Lips: Mac

There is nothing I like more than waking up on our days off, throwing clothes on and walking to grab breakfast at our favorite cafe.
I had been on the hunt for big flowy pants for a while, but none struck the perfect balance of color, fabric and fit. While I was browsing through H&M this weekend, I couldn't believe I found these. They are thick, silky, colorful and so comfy! I hadn't been in that store in months, because I felt their recent designs were edgier than I prefer. However, this trip was uber successful with these pants, that I'll be pairing with tees and tanks, as well as heels and blouses.

Fit- Benefits of Stretching

When I was asked how I capture my electrolynment- how my mind, body and soul come to an enlightened state- I immediately thought, oh, well working out. Then, taking a moment to really think about it, I thought that working out is not specifically how. Though working out helps keep my mind and body in good shape, it is specifically the stretching part that I find most important. I have done yoga for a couple of years, and while now I don't have the time to attend both cross fit and yoga classes, I still utilize my yoga stretches to maximize my body's capacity.
The benefits of stretching know no bounds. Whether you exercise or not, stretching will add years to your life by providing your body with increased oxygen to your muscles (remember your heart is pumped by a muscle?)
Not only do I see the benefits of stretching on my body, but also on mind's state as well. Stress causes your muscles to contract and become tense. With gentle stretching, the muscles will become less tense, and through proper breathing, your brain will be better able to process, reducing overall stress.

I learned in yoga, that while stretching, you should always breathe, hold positions for 30-60 seconds, take 15 second rests between stretches, and most importantly, pay attention to your body. When done properly, stretching should not cause pain the next day. In fact, it should reduce soreness by quickly passing lactic acid.
With stretching, I have also learned the importance of staying hydrated. I tried resource® Natural Spring Water for the first time last week, during my work out, and I loved it. The taste is heightened by natural electrolytes, and it is completely naturally sourced. I have never been able to drink tap water, because I think it tastes funny. Some argue water doesn't taste like anything, but to those I'd say, you haven't tasted good water yet.
From my personal experience, my main stretching tips are these:
1. Stay hydrated, I aim for one bottle of water throughout my stretching period
2. Focus on major muscle groups { calves, thighs, hips, lower back, neck}
3. Breathe the entire time you're holding positions
4. Do it 2 to 3 times a week
5. End stretching in a comfortable position (fetal position is my favorite) and mentally rid yourself of the day.

resource® Natural Spring Water is a holistic bottled water brand that sustains a lifestyle of wellbeing - spring water with naturally occurring electrolytes for taste, a bottle made from 50% recycled plastic [excluding label and cap], and a source for discovery and enlightenment.
