A plaid shirt..& walking in Memphis

Hi y'all!

If you don't know, Memphis is where I grew up, but I no longer live there. Funny how you appreciate things a lot more when you don't have them anymore. These pics are from my visit there last week. I love downtown Memphis. It has such a quaint character and a wonderful smell of bbq.

I don't dress down like this all too much, but bringing out the sneakers once in a while does the heart good. And my feet thank me for it.

  10. My husband and I were just talking about that last night on our drive home from work. Your appreciation for this you didn't have or took for granted when you did have them!!! Mine was the fall... I grew up in FL most of my life so there was really no such thing as seasons. Now that I live in NC I get to enjoy the seasons! Every fall I'm like OHHH LOOK AT that they're turning slowly! The husband (from WV)is like oh yea.... ha

    1. Bring a set of winter and summer clothing! The weather here is crazy! LOL! The saying is if you don't like Memphis weather just wait one day because it will change. Corky's is my favorite BBQ but Rendevous is great too. I'll be at the marathon! Hope you enjoy your stay!
